California has always been a highly popular place to live. After all, Hollywood is there and your chances of running into your favorite movie stars on the street are likely to happen. If you are in the entertainment business or, looking to be, this is one of the top places to be. They also have the ocean, warm weather, sunshine, and great places to work, shop, live, and eat. The cost of living in Calf is higher then many other places in the country, but it also has many benefits. As with anywhere you live it has some problems like earthquakes, and forest fires. But when you see the victims on the news they still continue to live there and would never want to leave. Buying a home here is different, they don’t use attorneys to consummate real estate sales, like many other places do. They use a system called an escrow. The purpose of an escrow is to enable a buyer and seller to deal with each other without risk. And you can forget about the closing; many times the buyer and seller never come face to face.
This process and procedure may vary a little differently from county to county. Although you don’t have to have an attorney to purchase a home here, it is good a idea to consult with one if you are new to the area, or have any legal or tax questions. Anytime you move somewhere different there are always new things to learn. And even though the home buying process in California may be very different or strange to what you are use too, the many awesome benefits and experiences you have in moving there will out weigh all the learning you will have to do.
